05 tC installing CAI

Default 05 tC installing CAI

hey guys im new on the forum and new with my tC

just got it about 2 weeks ago and i love it

first off I got an Injen SP CAI which I want to install but im not sure if I should attempt it myself if Im a complete noob or if I should have someone (mechanic do it) also the same with spark plugs

appreciate any help guys

It's pretty easy. Other than the ability to follow instructions and being able to unscrew/screw some bolts not much technical know how is needed.

In this DIY guide for a CAI install the guy had some little kids even do it.

Unbolt the fender, it will save you much time and frustrations.

most important foot note. make sure that you seat the mass air flow sensor correctly. make sure the oring isnt kinked and the sensor sits flush.
