Default 08 tC rough idle with AC on

I replaced the AC Compressor on an 08 tC.. now she’s telling me that the car shakes when she idles with the AC on.

Any ideas?

Is your rpm also really low (lower than normal) when idling after turning on the a/c? If so it could be a wiring problem (essentially the ECU should be giving it a bit more throttle to compensate for the a/c load.) Maybe double check all connections and see if there's any codes?

I’m not getting any codes coming up. My rpm we’re not fluctuating. They seemed to be normal to me (meaning the car was idling right under 1k rpm.) The car idled fine before I replaced the compressor. I did disconnect the battery before replacing compressor and of course reattached battery when I was done

Did you drive much after plugging the battery back in? After an extended battery disconnect the car might run rough for a bit to readjust ECU trims. If you haven't driven much after reconnecting the battery that could be it (in that case make sure to do some driving at various speeds to make sure the ECU is done it's thing).
