2005 tC getting No Power to ECM..
Hello I’m new to Scion life. My oldest son has a 2007 that we have done a lot of work on and it’s a great car. My middle son is coming up on driving age and I found a 2008 wrecked tC that ran great and an 2005 that threw a couple rods.
So I combined the two, put the 2008 engine, transmission, harness and ECM in the 2005. When I went to reset the ECM to the car during the initial lamp test the CEL doesn’t come on and my code reader will not link up.
Everything else in the car works fine. All fuses are good, I replaced every relay I could see, I double check the ECM in our 2007 and it works.
Anyone know what I should do next?
