Default 2006 Scion TC P2195 CEL

Good Afternoon Everyone

My Scion TC (2006) has 49,000 miles on her, anyway the check engine light came on and the dealer ran the code. Came up as P2195 Oxygen Sensor Signal Stuck Lean. $425.00 total parts and labor and I had them order the part. I cannot bring the car back in till next Saturday (7 days) If I use the car will it cause more damage?

Thanks in advance for your assistance~~

Your primary O2 sensor is probably bad. There was a TSB about it. If you're mechanically savvy at all, you could replace it yourself. It's definitely not a $425 job. The sensor itself is around $200.

I don't think it would hurt to drive it (someone else chime in if I'm wrong). I believe it will be dumping fuel however to compensate for the lean reading.
