2008 Scion tC Clutch and Transmission issues?
I have an 08 with a Stage 3 Clutch and headers and some kind of make shift CAI that the guy before me put on. when i got the car the guy said the clutch was touchy and boy was he right. the peddle went all the way to the floor when shifting. they I assume didn't know it has a manual peddle adjustment well fast forward I got that adjusted the best they could I replaced the throw out barring and put a new Stage 3 Clutch kit in it and slave cylinder. when I got the car back they said oh BTW you need a new fly wheel and my 3rd gear was locked out completely. before I did the replacement I could at least baby it into 3rd with minor scrapping now it's just locked out won't go in no matter what. double clutching rpm revs nothing helps it. 4 scraps some and 5th kicks out. what am I looking at here I've had several people look at it but they all don't know they say could be transmission gear oil low or needing changed, syncros out, need a new clutch or throw out baring but then I tell them they were just replaced.. I've been driving with 1, 2, and 4th gear but I'm concerned on the elevated rpms driving it that way will effect my engine.

1. Pedal, not peddle; bearing, not barring.
2. Could be any of those things - super hard to diagnose on the internet. I'd start with the easy stuff like fresh fluid (1g's like Redline MT-90).
Likely is a bad synchro for third though - possibly from driving with low or incorrect fluid or general hotrodding.
3. Why do you keep putting in Stage 3 Clutches? Sounds like whoever built that car before you did not know what they were doing. Unless that car has a turbo or a 500-shot of nitrous
that you forgot to tell us about you do not need anything close to a Stage 3 Clutch; would be so much nicer to drive with a Stage 1 Clutch / lightweight flywheel kit.
