.
that would more than likely be the cheapest place to get one..
don't forget that the same engine comes in a couple of other cars/SUV's, so your chances of finding one are actually pretty good.

if you want a base block....slavage yard...4cyl camray/soloara/rav4(I think on the rav4) all share the same block. if you want something slightly modified my good friends at zpi have a stage 1 block with either 8:5:1 pistons or 11:1:1 pistons dpending if your going n/a or f/i.
how did they manage to steal your car if you dont mind me asking?
Because I heard tC's were "harder" to steal. Im not saying a professional cant do it but why would a professional steal your car and drown it in a lake?

my guess he left his keys somewhere they could find it... inside the car?
might explain why his insurance isn't covering it.
another possibly is that he drowned it in the lake... and tried to get insurance to cover it by saying it was stolen... but hey.. that's a long shot.. but not impossible. *shrugs*
hope you find a new engine man.
