Default adjusting the clutch

alright you smart tc owners,i have a question,i did my clutch with the act version, and the engagement point is little higher then stock, now i know how to ajust it,i just cant get a good grip on the push rod with my fingers and ajust it counter-clock wise,i loosen up the 12mm nut,i just cant figure out how to do this, screwing the rod in the oppsite direction, any suggestion, special tools,i tought about small pliers with some kind of rubber on it,for that grip..just thought i would ask and see what others come up with

Where is the bolt at? I going to do my Act clutch soon and I just wanna know. This is going to be my first clutch install so I'm trying to find all the info I can get before I jump into it.

its the lower bolt on the push rod behind the clutch pedal itself, its a very tight space to get there, took me a few positions to get in there, when you do your clutch, and try it out for the first time, its goona be alot different then stock, stiffer, faster engagement,i knew before hand that i might have to ajust the clutch,i really didnt have too, have it was to high for me,all i do now if step on the clutch half way and boom theres the sweet spot

So you adjust with the tranny in or out of the car? Can you get to the bolt with the tranny in the car?

i would think youll have to have everything on and done, cause the push rod goes to the master cylinder and into the tranny itself which pushes on the pressure plate....the bolt is inside the cabin threaded on the push rod itself attached to the clutch

this isnt my pic but just to get and idea of what it looks like
