Aftermarket Clutch Problems PLEASE READ!!!
So I installed a new clutchmasters FX100 clutch about 6 months ago, and since then I have had to replace the slave cylinder. Obviously, I was really surprised and angry, but at the end of the day I bit myself in the butt for trying to do a really important job for less money, by not taking it to a tuner shop to have it installed. When slave cylinder went out, I had it installed at a Toyota dealership, but a few weeks later the same symptoms persisted. I am having problems switching from 2nd to 3rd gear and hear a really small clicking noise from the tranny. I googled the problems I was having and found a civic forum talking about the same exact problems I have and the some guy gave some really easy DIY solution to fix the problem. He said you have to adjust the adjustment rod on the clutch pedal so get the clutch to engage more, and that you have to do this for all aftermarket clutches. Is this the case for our tCs as well? Please let me know how I have fix my clutch without spending $800 again!!!
^^^^I don't think thats what he needs, you more likely need this: http://www.speed-source.net/products/pushrod.htm, try it cause for $26 dollars what do you have to loose? good luck.....
