Default Alphawerks + exhaust

I've decided on the alphawerks header but the exhaust I haven't quite decided. I'm deciding between the Injen, Blitz and DC Sports because I like a lower sound. I was wondering if anyone has any of these exhaust and more importantly these exhausts with the alphawerks. Also, I've searched but failed to find sound clips of the alphawerks and these exhausts.

just whatever exhaust it is, make sure you add a perferated core resonator to the midpipe.

Why buy such a nice header only to follow it up with an axle back? Seems like a waste of pontential in terms of performance.

not really considering that if you #1. go any bigger in pipe it will cost more money and wont make any noticable differance and #2. you will probably loose HP b/c of the fact its not forced induction and that theres not enough back pressure.

What about the GReddy SP2, it is not loud as the EVO2, you can see it and hear it yourself here...

what does that do?
resonator quiets the harshness of the exhaust. keeps the rasp away from friendly ears

are you aiming for sound or performance or both?

if your aiming for sound, getting header is almost completely useless unless you like the rasp that the headers make (like me).

if you want performance, get a full exhaust system including S-pipe.
ZPI, megan, draxas, CC. and make sure you get a resonator on those because with those header (AW), it will sound LOUD

Default forget it

just do the motor mods you want, then go out and have an exhaust made that will be able to handle the extra exhaust your pushing thru. I have the alpha, cai, trd exhaust, s-pipe. sounds like a ____ed off lawn mower. I do take solice in knowing that when I do get on it, the sound somewhat matches the speed!
