i was just wondering if anybody bought and/or installed the Alphawerks Throttle Body on their tC yet.

cool, a honda TB for our car

 

i've talked to AW and sell there parts...

the AW throttle body is not meant for NA performance

its ideal for FI cars. on a turbo car it will at leat gain 10hp

 

i am planing on doing that TB after i SC

 

so what happens on a NA tC?

i'm most likely gonna go FI quite possibly Spring '06. i'm just curious what performance, if any, decreases/increases would be seen in a NA tC.

Did they finally get the bugs worked out at idle?

 

it wouldnt help an NA car as much because your not forcing much more air in, where as FI you are forcing ALOT more in, and a bigger TB will allow that air to come in quicker, and if you have 2.5" exhaust with a header, then you should see a nice increase with those mods combined

 

oooo, this will be a worthwhile upgrade, didn't think of that.

 

it'll work on NA cars but the most ull probly gain from the TB would be 2 hp
