Default Another Code popped up P0012..

Read my last post here https://www.scionlife.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=224021

I've had misfire codes that no mechanic can find the problem to: P0300, P0301, P0302, P0303 and P0304.

Recently I got my car scanned again (05 tC with 92k) and I have P0012.

Can this code be the cause of all the misfires? And how would I go about diagnosing it?

Faulty VVT or damaged ECM i think would be the worst case scenario. i'm not too sure on how pricy it can get but i'm sure it's up there.

Not sure about the 0012 code but for the misfires, I replaced my spark plugs with new plugs which corrected mine. I had misfires in all 4 cylinders and a code for random misfires. I would double check all your wires before taking it back to the tech. Could be something as simple as a bad connection sometimes.
