im looking to buy an exhaust for the low deep sound.. and of course im in it for the power also.. but i have so many choices on my hands.. so i limited them into catback exh systems: the greddy sp2, greddy evo2, the megan racing drift spec, or the borla catback.. can someone tell me which exhaust has the best performance and low deep sound but not too deep like a ricer.. leave a comment or two.. honest opinions are appreciated. thanks

 

both greddy systems are not cat backs..they are axle backs. regardless of what any website says they are axle backs.

the borla is aite, but i wouldnt put borla on an import... the best bang for your buck would be the megan racing V3 exhaust...you want the V2 but the V3 is like 100x better

i dont hav an exhaust.... im doing a custom exhaust, but i know a thing or too. i would honestly say that for you the best one out there for the price is the megan racing.... plus it looks semi-stock so cops wont really bother you!!!

but Megan has said that they got like 10-12hp from the V1 exhaust, so this one should make the same

 

what makes the v3 100% better than the v2?

 

because maybe this time it fits without any problems.

Does anyone have the Borla exhaust?
How much is th hp gain?

 

i saw a few pix of a cpl different exhausts and it seems that there all angled off to the side....is there any that are pointed straight out and still sound good??

 

one more lil Q......is it worth the money to buy just a can tip and get it welded onto the stock pipes?? or just go with the cat/axle back?

 

Im planning to get a can just welded onto the stock pipes but Im doing it just because Ive had a can laying around my house for 2 years now that I bought for my old car. Im really not into performance though, and Im not looking to spend more than ~$100. If you want performance I think it would be a safe assumption that the Greddy, HKS, Megan would be better, welded on would be just about looks (which is why I might do it, if its not too expensive).
