anyone have pics of the damper kit installed on there tC? i was thinkin about getting it....also wanted to know if its an easy install or not.

The ram air kit fits on the dragon filter and the Secret Weapon intake.
It shoudl take you about 1-2 hours to install if your picky like me.

 

Yes it would help on any car. help it shift faster and put more power to the ground.

 

how does this effect in cabin vibrations when not driving hard? idle?

 

Nothing bad while driving, but vibration is noticeble at idle with the A/C on. I feel it is worth the little vibration it produces.

 

hey monstermotorworks.. you guys should bring out solid motor mounts.. man those things work great, same idea as this engine damper but id rather have the solid mounts.. heh

 

Solid MM = huge vibration...most dont want that.

 

hehh you get used to it.. trust me.. i had it for a while and i was like holy crap, its just three out of four mounts and its this shaky.. but it felt good, after that i never felt it, but all my passengers would be like man why does it vibrate so much? lol im waiting for those

 

That is the worst before and after i have ever seen. Keep both motors at same RPMS then shoot again. And how does this show us how well it will work on the TC. A saturn is a TURD! It looks to me like the mounts are moving more than that shock doing anything.

 

the engine doesnt shake at same rpm's.
you will see the most differences when the engine is reved freely.

try it on your car you'll see.

 

As a person who has been quick to question the validity of MMW products, I can attest to this part making a noticeable difference in performance. Wheel hop is greatly reduced and shifting is much more positive and solid. I especially notice when downshifting going into corners. The engine torquing on its mounts is parasitic HP loss so reducing that movement is allowing more of that power to be transferred to the wheels. You would not see and dyno increase form the product because it doesnt simulate real world driving, but powering out of a tight corner in second gear feels great because the power is right there when you get on it.
