Default any else having/had this problem?

i have an 06 tc with 38k miles on it and just a couple days ago i started getting a strange but pretty significant bucking/jerking in first gear after a let out the clutch while still in low rpms. it feels almost as if the rpms are just dropping off and jumping right back up. anyone have any ideas what may be causing this?

and i've already searched the forums long and hard and couldn't find anything.

I've always got that, it justs flops around right? like someone is pushing you in short bursts, extremely annoying. I always just thought it was because of our first gear being so harsh?

get an aftermarket clutch that clamps down harder and a lighter flywheel and it'll get even worse.

I get out of first gear as soon as possible. Roughest 1st gear I have ever experienced. Drivebywire plus our mounts would more than likely cause this. But idk.

Yeah i have the same problem, I've learned to adapt to it and you can kinda stop it by pushing the gas to keep the rpm's up or just put your clutch in.

theres really no fuel filter?!?! that sounds a little odd. if you cant see it in the fuel lines it could be in the tank, i'm pretty sure all cars have fuel filters. If it really dosent this would be the first car i've heard of with out one.

not sure if anyone is still watching this post and sorry it took so long to repost but is ended up being a bad MAF sensor and it was throwing off the ECU and causing it to mess up the amount of fuel being fed to the engine

Just wanted to put a couple of my 2 cents in.. i hope it spreads a little light on the situation. Im current PCS'ed to Sheppard AFB, TX and have been without my '08 tC for about 6 months.

BUT i remember alot about the gears and their behaviors in certain RPMS and what not. The biggest thing I can recall is that the get-up-and-go on the first gear was pretty rough unless you got the RPM-Timing right. I suggest finding a safe, open, and EMPTY road to test yourself out on the gears to find those "G-Spots" as I like to call them.

Have fun and happy hunting!
