heres a tip, sell your auto and buy a manual TC, its going to cost you a lot of $$ to do a conversion and will completely destroy the resale value of the car

No way man, a tranny swap would cost over 3k for our cars if you wanted to add in parts. I was just lucky enough to have a parts car in my shop with the motor and tranny in fully working order.

Theres a lot more to a tranny swap than switching out the transmission, you goat swap out the ECU, you gota make a custom bracket for the clutch, swap the main engine and interior panel wiring harness, swap the gauge cluster and, shifter. Ill try my best to fill you guys in on this.

And yea Tong call my up.

Right now it’s at the body shop that I work in. we subcontracted a qualified mechanic to do the swap. The dealer will never do a transmission swap because of warranty issues and your odometer will rest.

I wouldn't think that an Auto swapped to a 5 speed would ever drive like a true 5 speed; I might be wrong though. Good luck with the swap.

You are in luck then... you would have probably paid over 5k and then HOPEFULLY gotten it done right the first time If you are doing anything outside of warranty, find yourself a good private shop that you know is trustworthy. No offense to all of the dealer people out there.. they arent all bad.. the shop in our family just gets a TON of business from the 5 or so shoddy dealership service departments.. or at least from the fed of customers of these places.. and the labor rates there are about 40% higher than most of the private shops in a lot of cases.
