i plan to convert to manual later on..

i really wanted a manual, but my dad said no..

basically i paid for half the car, and he said if i got auto he would pay for the other half, so it was a no brainer to me.. i figured i would rather spend mroe money on mods, than have a bone stock tC while still makin payments.. anyways the car is paid off now..

and to the comment about the auto convertin to 5spd never being like a 5spd.. that is totally false, my last car i converted, and since you are changing your ECU.. it doesnt even matter, the car completely forgets its past.

I didn't know if that statement was true. Hence the "I might be wrong though."

I wish that I had the $$ for a swap but I'll just be happy with my automatic I guess

o ya i understand that you said that.. thats why i tried to come off calm.. i guess i failed

but its only about 1k for labor.. if you can get the parts yourself, its no more than another 1k. i mean we all know how many tC's are bein crashed day and night

True, with a lot of luck the swap would be done right on the first try. I wouldn't want to experiment on my only mode of transportation though.

my friend that swapped his mazda 626 from an auto to manual had problems at first.. managed to fix it then right now it isn't running properly.. lol.

my cousin had his 240sx swapped from an auto to manual as well. it ran fine for a few thousand miles then he's facing problems now with the car stalling out of no where.. he's upgraded the clutch also.

but then again, those are 2 older cars and they've been driven aggressively.. just sharing some of the stories i know with auto/manual swaps.

good luck with the swap mystik, i'm lookin' forward to whatever happens.

We do.

As for the swap, we haven't done one yet.. We told burn2pla he should do one on his car... but he opted for the built tranny.

I can get you pricing. It'll be added to the site soon. We've got 2 of them on the road right now.

hey can you elaborate on some stuff like making a custom bracket for the clutch, ( why would you have to swap out the engine???) what do you mean seap the interior panel wiring harness? is it just one piece of is it a bunch of wires?
