Default automatic fuel cut launch?

hey guys, i have an 07 with an auto trans. when i go to the track and brake torque it a bit. about 2,500 rpm i hit fuel cut almost every time on the 1st to 2nd shift.. when im just driving around and i dont brake torque it it shifts fine and never hits the cut. anyone have any ideas? there is alot of wheel spin when i brake torque it, could that be the reason?

Remember the "runaway car" bs a couple years ago?
That's why. Toyota already had the cut off on a lot of cars.

yes i do, ecu swap. my 07 would do the same. it is the only year with that setup. search "paperclip" the story and results are there. i bought one from 2009 r.s., for $60. new and salvaged parts (615) 256-1293. my part # is manual trans though. i shaved 3/4 to 1sec, being able to shift without cutting off.

I think i educated my right foot just fine pulling consistent 2.1 60s on stock worn tires. 1.9 on DRs. It makes a difference. Soon going to put on full slicks.
