Default AW sim question

i looked around and didn't see this covered. if i install the sim (splice into the ecu since it's not plug and play) can a dealership deny my warrenty? my buddy was telling me they will saying i could have messed something up in the ecu and thats what caused the problem. (he works at a dealership in the parts department if that matters any)

Shure you got it right, every thing I hear it was just a plug in sim. No spliceing or piggy backing. Though I haven't seen it yet, but I think it plugs in to the senser and not the ECU, as that is all it effects. Though I could be wronge.

They tell you to slice it into your ECU. Not plug and play.

In most cases after about 500-1000 miles it will throw it one last time, but nothing after that. After that initial light clearing it feels a lot nicer and a lil quicker.

^ this makes me thing the ECU is definitely using the 2nd O2 to modify the fuel map.... not sure why others say differently

the first o2 is before the precat on the stock manifold, so wouldn't it have to be the 2nd one?

its a TAP-IN wire

you can buy them at radio shack for $2 (a small box full)

no cutting or splicing needed.

just put the wire in, close it up and your good to go
