A lot of exhaust systems for our cars don't produce a lot of power. 90% of them is just for sound. Agency Power and Magnaflow made true 2.25" catback exhaust systems that retain the low end torque required for our engine. Most of the other exhaust systems you will lose torque and gain it back somewhere in the higher end. Your stock exhaust is actually faster off the line. I went with a Tanabe Medalluon Touring axleback because of looks and sound and changed out my stock resonator with a Vibrant Ultra quiet and swapped put the secondary cat with a Magnaflow cat.

I also changed the stock header to a Tsudo 4-2-1 (Weapon-R and MMW clone) header but I honestly didn't feel a whole lot of power from it. Never dyno'd and don't see a point. When it comes down to it, you won't get any power worth the money, out of all the exhausts available for our cars. Now, you can get a good custom sounding exhaust system but if you want power then you need to go boost and have an exhaust system that will work well with your turbo or supercharger. If you keep the car NA then I highly recommend any exhaust that's bigger than stock or 2.25" because it's pointless and you lose a lot of low end torque. You'll sound fast but will be actually going slow as hell.
