BOV question... running lean
Well I'm happy to say that our Tial bov choice was a good one. It is only atmospheric but the new Forced Performance magazine did a writeup on the 678WHP Evo 8, which is running the exact same BOV used in our kits lol...
Is the Greddy BOV just as good as the Tial bov, or is there a difference? If there is no difference in performance, then I'd like it a little quite, while decreasing the stall problem. If the TIAL BOV is actually better in performance, then I'd go with the TIAL, and work around the stalling problem with the emanage. Any inputs on this?
tial is always good stuff. they're basically the standard when it comes to wastegates and their BOV's are just as good
the greddy type s is good up to 21-22 psi before it starts to leak
the greddy type rs is good all around

I do not mind a little BOV noise but not loud, just like exhause and intake noise, nice but not loud either.
So, I bought the RS and recirc adaptor for our up and coming turbo install

Now run stock recurc BOV @ 20psi with no problems

thats why it ran poorly
couldnt resist
I have decided to go full race car on the tC now and building a turbo system pretty close in design to the Ptuning race setup, with their permission of course but doing it myself because I love doing so
I will be running a blow through MAF and open air BOV before it now, Tial to be specific.
If this was a street car I might do things differently but their setup works very well, looks cool, making noise while passing or trying to pass is part of getting their attention so they get out of the way or make a mistake so I can get by;)
