Budget Cold air intake *
So I was looking at getting a cold air intake. I dont want a short ram ,i would like a full kit.
I found a cold air kit on Ebay that looks decent.
I know the price is cheap and Im thinking it maybe cheap also but for 70 bucks total it looks ok.
I think with K&n/aem/injen you basically paying for name. i see no real differance with those and this 70 dollar kit.
Anyone have a budget intake or have an opinion??

You may be right. The biggest different is probably the quality of the metal. What does that mean? That maybe it will get a bit hotter than normal intakes. However, if you are getting an intake for power, I have a bridge to sell ya. It is for sound and looks (which you will receive both). So I say go for it, just make sure that it's the exact size for your car and that the MAF sensor will fit YOUR tC year. That picture looks like an 07 MAF, but it's hard to tell. If its the right size and it fits properly, you should be good to go.
OH, and buy a QUALITY AIR FILTER. DO NOT use the air filter it comes with. I recommend an AEM Dryflow air filter - measure the pipe when you get it in so you know what size filter to order.

I have this exact intake "sitting" in my garage, I would attempt to intall it this weekend but i don't have the blue colored oil for the filter...
yes i'm **** like that i don't wanna spray it with the K&N red...
I might try the install anyway just to see if it fits or to see if i'm out 70$ LOL

Get a better filter. Especially if your ****. Get a aem dryflow air filter. This filter doesn't use oil. As it says on the box, you shouldn't have to dirty a filter to make it "clean". it's a valid point.
