CAI P0101 CEL fixed...
i got the tenzo intake and it was throwing a CEL. on the DIY people were having the same problem. p0101.
i clapped down all the hose really tight. but that didnt help. turns out the problem was in the MAF. the gasket didnt fit very well but if u lube it with WD-40 (spray on finger and carefully work your way around the gasket making sure u dont touch anything else) after that it should slip right in firmly.
not throwing a CEL anymore.
also let it idle for 5mins after you reconnect battery.

I wanted to add to this. It would be best to leave the (-) cable off longer than 30 seconds. You have to remember that there are capacitors, diodes, potentiometers, etc. that the current has to flow through and discharge. I'd leave it atleast 15 minutes. Then start the car after reconnecting the battery cable. Don't rev it or have the a/c running. Basically just start it and leave everything off and the car alone until your car reaches normal operating temps or you radiator fans kick on. Once you do this, baby the car for a bit. Let the ECU learn the changes made while being driven. Most people just reset the ecu, idle then start banging gears and that's why they get a CEL. It would also help to clean you MAF sensor with the appropriate cleaner.
