Can I use a lightweight flywheel on an auto?
It is probably a stupid question since I just hear about it paired with a new clutch (manual), but It sounds like a worthwhile upgrade. I would really like to do it to my auto to get better response and a horse or two =) Input needed, thanks!
mattvs is correct, you car does not have a flywheel, it has basically what can be called a starter ring, that happens to be far lighter than an aluminum flywheel but then you have a torque converter as well, that part would be fun to change if you are a drag racer.
