ok so i have 07 Scion tC 5spd with 97,XXX Miles. So my problem is that my car wont start when i have the clutch all the way down. (its almost like trying to start the car without the clutch down) It will eventually work after i release the clutch and try again. This dose not happen every single time i try to start the car only once a while. please help.

also, i recently replaced my battery and my mods are intake and exhaust.

check your clutch interlock switch. it's required to start the car, might be bad or just needing to be adjusted into place.

 

where do i go to find this?

 

It sits under the clutch pedal, on the floor. When the clutch is pressed it should press the switch to allow you to start the car.
