Car Vibration at Idle (a/c on)
Like mentioned you can also clean off the MAF pickup a can of MAF cleaner while you are getting the injector cleaner it is real easy to do.
mengsta - where did you get the BG44K at locally?

Winchester auto in san jose used to carry it. Now i have yet to find it, and to my amazement ive checked all the kragens in my area and most of dont even know what BG44k is let alone heard of the brand. Some employees huh? I recently recomended it to my homie and he had to order it, try searchin on yahoo. So to answer your question, no u wont be able to find it in the milpitas/san jose area. WEll i havnt called autozone yet, but i doubt theyll have it. ALSO becareful if you use the maf cleaner, i had tried to CRC maf on my homies car and it ruined it. Just try not to spray too much.
I heard that all the BG products could only be had through a shop now that's why I was wondering where you found it.. I have used the MAF cleaner many time on my car with no issues I'm pretty sure I followed what ever it said but basically I took out the MAF sprayed the heck out of it then let it dry off before putting it back in..
yeah that makes sense. seems like stuff shops would charge u like 100 bucks to "clean injectors" but just use that. you can order them online tho. and what maf cleaner did u use. CRC right?

lol those questions come a million a day. u can get it checked if u really want to. Thats probably the best decision. But i hate going to the dealership, soo i dont. with the A/C on, the car is always going to be less smooth. Depending on how severe the vibration is, is what u gotta ask yourself.
Update: I took the tC into Atkinson Toyota in Bryan, TX this morning to let them at a look at it. I will hear back from them later today, and hopefully they will be able to diagnostic the problem. Hopefully they won't dismiss it as something random and find a reason.
Ok, so after leaving my car there for a day, they pretty much told me they didnt really find anything out of the ordinary for my car and asked that i go for a ride along, but i didnt have time on wednesday so i went back today to do it. I rode with one of the head technicians of the shop and talked to him about what might possibly be wrong. On the trip, nothing major happened, so we weren't able to determine something but he asked me to sorta keep a watchout for it for the next few weeks to see if it happens some more and to get back to him with an update.
On a side note, i told him about another problem I had and he suggested it might be my belt and tentioner(sp?) and suggested I get those replaced.

yeah thought so... as far as the vibration goes. They arent going to say much. Like i said Rough idle is usually many small things mostly consiting of unefficient spray of the fuel injectors. Just try putting BG44k. Then tell us if it improved.
