Car Vibration at Idle (a/c on)
OK here is the fix for it:
Stuff needed: old toothbrush, can of brake parts cleaner and a shop towl. You will need a buddy also since the car is electronic throttle.
1. Remove the air intake from the throttle body.
2. Spray some cleaner into the TB(throttle body)
3. Turn the key to ignition, but DO NOT start the car and have someone hold the gas pedal to the floor so the throttle is all the way open.
4. Use the tooth brush and scrub as deep into the TB as possible to clean it up, spray cleaner as needed.
5. Then spray some cleaner onto the shop towl and wipe out the TB.
6. Turn off key and Re-install the air intake.
7. Remove MAF sensor and remove the o-ring from it before cleaning it so the cleaner wont swell and destroy the o-ring.
8. Use BRAKE cleaner to clean the MAF, carb/fuel cleaner leaves film on it.
9. Re-install o-ring and MAF
10. Start car, may take a few seconds to clear out the excess cleaner, rev the engine to clear it out so it will idle.
11. Shut off car and remove negative battery cable.
12. Touch negative cable to positive battery post/terminal for 10 seconds to clear out and re-set ECU memory.
13. Drive car and idle should be smooth again with A/C off.
14. Cleaning the injectors is also helpful every 30,000 miles to smooth idle.

^^^ yeah my tech friend told me that i should clean the TB... but are you for real with this:
12. Touch negative cable terminal to positive battery post/terminal for 10 seconds to clear out and re-set ECU memory.
???????????????
as far as i know u CANT touch the two terminals...

But if you touch both cables to the same battery terminal it will be fine cause the circuit is not grounded, but will clear learned memory from the ecu. I am a Master Toyota tech so I have done this several times.
