The HKS canister is just the...canister. You still need to get piping done. I say get the HKS canister and get mandrel bent piping done...cat-back style!

btw, mooved.

We just redesigned the catback to have flanges on it. No more clamping headaches!! Flanges with gaskets with hardware. Moving on up! :D

Get the HKS can and get the piping done by a good shop, thais way your car will have it own unique exhaust setup.

Yeah make sure you get mandrel bent, not crushed bent. You need smooth flowing air to maximize efficiency, especially if FI is coming your way.

Are you planning on boosting your tC? HKS, Apexi, and Greddy all offer turbo and NA versions of mufflers. So make sure you buy the right kind so you don't have regrets. I sell of them too, so if you need some prices feel free to ask.

look wise: hks

sound wise: precision muffler

performance: precision muffler

mufflers won't do nothing, but make noise. it is titanium, but that is it. if you are looking for performance then go with the second one

Injen! I'd wait for the release of the Injen catback. No 90 degree bends as the one pictured above.

How would an HKS muffler not yeild more power? If you install it with a professionally made piping layout... it will produce.

HKS makes the universals for cars that don't have specific applications. They don't expect most people to buy one of their 2-300 dollar mufflers and just weld it on to stock piping. On another note, on a turbo tC, a turbo HKS muffler with custom 3" piping will far outperform a pre-made standard application.

I know you left it open. I'm just trying to clear this up a little. If you compare just a muffler with stock piping, vs precision, the precision will be better. If you do it right, and spend the money, the HKS will be better.
