Default CEL light and engine is running rich.

installed number 1 headers also have number one catback exhaust. the exhaust has no cat and obviously neither does the header. i was reading that the antifouler doesnt really workand i have no cat to relocate the o2 bung behind. so i dont know what to do...ik the car is running rich because you can smell it when you get behind the car....and ive had like 8 people smell it and they all agree. ne helpful tips?

it smells because you simply have no cat.

the antifouler trick works. try it out. i've had my antifoulers on there for a good year already.

X2. No cat = stink.

If you were running rich, and you're probably not, you'd throw a fault code for it. You probably have just a P0420 code now which is what the anti-fouler will (more often than not) prevent.

No. Spend about $3 at Autozone and do this:

(scroll about 2/3 way down for anti-fouler install)

Drill bit + HELP antifoulers = way <$25. :D

I actually spent $12 for an anti-fouler from autotube.net which by the photo didn't appear to be just a drilled-out HELP anti-fouler, and they advertised "100% success on Scion tC's". Turned out to be just a drilled-out HELP anti-fouler and gave me a P0420 CEL after about 30 miles. (Adding the 2nd HELP antifouler worked.)

So what do you get for the $25 anti-fouler?

if i get 1 or maybe 2 fouler that wont change anything else but the CEl light?? i mean.. im not gonna do nothing bad to my engine if i get 2 foulers on the second sensor?

(2 because they said 1 is not enough for the megan headers-- CEL will come back with 1 fouler)

no if u read more into it on the forums basically they say get two foulers...drill a 1/2 inch hole in the first one then screw the second one into the first...then screw it all into the o2 bung. sounds simple to me https://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=101069
