Default chances of headers accully defecting the warranty

i know that the header cannot be deemed at to void the warranty unless it is the sole cause of the problem.

so i was just wondering what is the chances of blowing a gasket in the motor.

i dont know much about engines soo please enlighten me.

well if you have a header and something happens with the engine, take it off put the stock back on and take it to the dealer....what can they say?

They will not cover if anything were to happen to your engine and will attribute the problem to your headers saying that it was not designed for the increased air flow, hp, or whatever else... and trust me they can tell if you remove the stock manifold and put it back on... Wait three years or void your warranty, your choice...

If your gasket blows it doesnt matter if you have an aftermarket or stock header, you did something very wrong. Only problem a header should ever cuase is maybe messing the O2 sensor up when you install it

theres no real gaskets INSIDE the motor. more moving parts than anything, if your refering to the exhause manifold gasket you can pick up another one at the auto parts store for cheap. all headers are bigger in diameter than stock manifolds so the design is used to increase flow of exhause out of the motor. really theres no way a header can ruin the motor...unless of course your running open header then your going to have a problem on your hands. [open header = header and thats it, no more exhause. you can suck a valve like that and have that cool james bond smoke screen when your car is pouring smoke.] :D
