Default check engine light after.....

hey guys i just installed a fujita CAI on an 07, and couple of hours later after driving it the check engine light came on...did i do the install wrong or is this normal??

I would suggest going to autozone or something and getting the code read, it could be something completely different.

fujita intakes are known to have this problem, some poeple dont have any issues, and some get CELs, i dont think there is any way to fix this other then taking it off, i has to do with the size of the pipe where the MAF is located

check your gaskets too.......might have a vacume leak in one of them throwing code......did it to an Injen I installed and missed a clamp gettign all the way tight.

that shouldnt throw a cel code, unless it comes detached from the TB, in which case the car shuts off

had this problem too, i was like wth i found out that the filter was too far down the pipe making the maf think teres no filter, try moiving the filter up more so a bit less air can get by easily i think mine is half way into the filter
