I liked the Fidanza when I used it. It's about a pound or more lighter than Clutchmasters.

The CM flywheel. has the same dimensions as the OEM flywheel. Its just lighter. Wich is why i chose CM, that and CM is a top notch company.

I'm not saying fidenza isn't. But it was easier for me to order a clutch and a flywheel from the same place for shipping and arrival purposes.

I really enjoy my CM prodcuts.

I sell both brands and they are both very good companies. I would get which ever flywheel is heavier. Yes. Heavier. Unless you are doing som other more serious mods. A too light flywheel will make daily driving more difficult and can also have other negative effects on the drivetrain/ECU (I'm not sure if this is true on Scions, but on Subbies a flywheel that is too light will trip CELs all the time.)

Either way, gotta love the flywheel mod. I have the fidanza and no problems with it, i really think this is just a, which one is cheaper kinda question. Not sure about the CM one but the fidanza has a replaceable friction plate so there is no more having the flywheel shaved, just screwing on a new plate, very nice feature, but my guess is that they both have it.
