Default Clutch Squeaks

I just noticed that my clutch squeaks when I clutch in. What could that be? a slave cylinder maybe? The clutch pedal feels the same as before, engagement is nice and smooth as always but that noise I know will bother me. Now I am thinking about getting a turbo and covering the squeaking noise with the sound of the bov, but before I do that I wanted to consult with you.

I work at a Toyota Dealership and we recently had a technical conference. There is a new service concern on tC clutch chirping. My clutch is doing the same thing. The leader of the technical conference gave me a number to call and report it, but I haven't called it yet. I will post another reply once I talk to the right people.

it's the slave cylinder rod..

people have been using grease or other lube to prevent it from squeaking.

thank you for the links. It seems that the squeaking is random. This morning when my car was cold it did not squeak at all. Weird

yeah.. it does tend to be a little random.. but more dependent on temperature and climate conditions.
