Clutch Squeaks
I just noticed that my clutch squeaks when I clutch in. What could that be? a slave cylinder maybe? The clutch pedal feels the same as before, engagement is nice and smooth as always but that noise I know will bother me. Now I am thinking about getting a turbo and covering the squeaking noise with the sound of the bov, but before I do that I wanted to consult with you.
I work at a Toyota Dealership and we recently had a technical conference. There is a new service concern on tC clutch chirping. My clutch is doing the same thing. The leader of the technical conference gave me a number to call and report it, but I haven't called it yet. I will post another reply once I talk to the right people.

it's the slave cylinder rod..
people have been using grease or other lube to prevent it from squeaking.
