Default Custom Motor Mounts...cheap and work

*NOTICE* Your car will be off the road for about 2-3 days.

For any of you out there who want more power to the wheels motor mounts can help...

Most people buy them, when all you need to do is take your stock ones and fill them...haha, simple nuff right?!

What you need is the front mount, or any other mounts you want...but the front takes most movement from the engine, the back one also helps...

What you need

1.Desired motor mounts off the engine.(I dont know what size bolts hold em on the frame...prob 12-14mm, I dont own a tC yet...but this is universal...)
2. 3M #8609 Urethane Window Adhesive.
3. Masking Tape
4. Cleaning materials

Simple once mounts are off, get to work on cleaning them...make sure nice and clean.

Once that is done, take the masking take and mask off ONE side, make sure it is on and wont come off...

Next fill in mounts from bottom up...

Let cure for a few days in the sun. 2-3 days I would suggest. But you can do it as long as you want, haha.

Replace them, THERE YOU HAVE IT.

Controls the engine much more than before, takes away some of the noise...or should, and you saved money and work just as well!

Hope you guys like...hopefully no one posted this before! haha

Motor mounts don't add horsepower, they "mount" or hold the motor

I'd rather just buy Solid mounts than mess with the stock mounts.

If the kid wants a tC, then he wants a tC. You're representing a Dealership suposedly, and with that kind of attitude who do you think is going to want to buy from you? Maybe you should re-evaluate your reasons for being on ScionLife.

Faulkner seems to snap at people for no good reason.

If you don't care for what he's posting then why attack him for it? At least he's giving good information to the community.

Since when do pictures prove knowledge? raamaudio has provided some of the best information I've ever read without posting any pictures. I don't see you telling him to leave.

Posts like yours are the reason people won't want to post or even attempt to join this forum. They can stick to friendlier forums like yoursciontc.com
