on my way home last night from a new years bash, me and my buddy are just crusing along on our way home and all of a sudden i hear debri, then ALOT of debri and the oil light came on. looks like somebody was murdered. oil on the ground, engine bay and a murder streak on the road. obviously a hole in the block.

I knew it was going to good. just started paying my turbo kit, schools going good etc..

i found a chunk of my block on the road =*( i might post pics but i sure hope the dealer will cover this under warrenty.

Btw i was going 60-65 (the limit).

oh and also it was about 5 am. happy new years

*UPDATE*
got it to the dealer today, piston through the bottom of the block. They said it will but covered under warrenty but they need to see oil change receipts. The last one they have me as shows me at 13k(when the free ones ran out) they car has 28k on it. They must be out of their minds if they think i would neglect my baby like that. Mobil 1 full synthetic every 5k. I change my own oil, how the hell do i get a receipt for that?? its been 3000 miles since the last one lol

 

That sucks dude. Post some pics and let us know what the dealer says.

with that turbo kit though... (which i assume is installed?) the dealership won't help you much...

better off calling the junkyard to see if you can find yourself a new engine.. :?

well its at the tow yard right now but when it gets the dealer ill take some pics. i couldnt see the hole last night but there was oil all over the road. ima try to keep my engine too if the dealer will let me lol

 

In for some pics. Could have been a whole in the oil pan from a rock or something.

 

ohhh.. okay.. that's better.... but hopefully you haven't done any major mods that the dealership could point at like an idiot and blame...

so yeah.. get some pictures up and hopefully things will get better for you.

The dealer isnt going to find that as minor stuff tho. They can easily say that altering those parts lead to the a/f ratios being different from stock and caused overheating and blew a rod, or something to that fact!

 

my dealer is pretty cool, but if they try that ima call BS and off we go lol

i can only think of a few reasons...

1. really bad down shift
2. ran something over
3. alcohol...

 

1. nope was in 5th on the highway
2. negative
3. negative, not that i think a beer would anger the engine god to destry my engine, but negative non the less

 

u should be good then b/c the dealer can check the ecu if there was a bad down shift.
