DC Headers
I just got the Dc Sport 4-1 Headers yesterday. Haven't had a chance to install yet, hopfully tomorrow....The point of this post is that my friend works for Nopi and he was hooking me up with these headers. They were supposed to be the 4-2-1 but instead he got me the 4-1. The 4-2-1 headers are supposed to give power through out the RPM band and the 4-1 is supposed to give high RPM power but yet they are supposed to put out the same type of numbers....So in your guys opinions, What would you rather have......High end power or power through the band?
Thanks.
Thanks.
There is no 4-2-1 DC header for the tC..It was advertised that way incorrectly. The only 4-2-1 header for the tC avaialble at this point is the MMW which is upwards of $700 or more. It doesnt offer enough of a gain over 4-1 designs to warrant its price IMO. Youve got a great header that will make a nice improvement over stock. Dont worry about a few HP you might not even notice.

ive seen graphs for many different header systems for many different cars and taht 4-1 4-2-1 debate really depends on teh car.
i believe the DC header is sorta a 4-2-1 internal design but on teh outside its a 4-1.
MMW is the only company that makes a true 4-2-1 header design for our car.
AW 4-1, megan 4-1
