Digital Throttle Body ?
I swiped this from another board. The person got a response that said "search on ScionLife" but I've searched and can't find any information on this.
Does anybody have any more information about this?

its a drive by wire system (no cable for the t/b only a electric pedal and a little servo that opens and closes the t/b (im asuming its a servo based on how it was said to work)) and it sucks but it shouldnt be as bad as the toyota tech said
and if you have issues like that it sounds like the servo or the pedal might be messed up not the ecu needing to be reset

no that only applys to the valve timing so i doubt that but im also sure the toyota tech was just rambling to get the guy to not complain becouse the tech had no idea what was wrong

yeah this drive by wire t/b is kinda ____in me off too...i notice a weird lil lag and i have to constantly adjust to it when im driving in traffic...oh n btw i drive an auto...any other 05 auto tC owners notice this too??? the lag sux because after i press on the gas paddle the system senses the gas peddle in a furthers position and then kinda laubches my car...which aint a smart thing to do in traffic...also i talked to my dealer about getting rid of my DbW t/b and replace it with cable system from another toyota, but they said they couldnt because it's all wired into the ECU....its sux i really want a cable system for my auto tC.
