I've had my Magnaflow cat-back for like a week now, and i've noticed that it seems like it has quieted down some. I actually liked how it sounded when it was brand new on the car, but now it only seems a little louder than stock (this is when i'm inside the car with the windows down though). Do exhausts tend to quiet down once the car gets tused to them? Also, i noticed that my acceleration felt a little stronger after i got it installed, but now feels a little laggier than b4 i had anything done.

 

1) most exhausts get louder over time, but not magnaflow..they are usually louder whn you put them on, and when the break in they get quieter.. and i have the same muffler as you so i know what your talking about, but i kinda like the quietness... and it has its moments when its loud, jus sometimes

2) you felt more power because you were expecting it.. you shouldnt be losing power, you knew that when you got it you were gonna get an increase in HP so you expected it..whether or not you got some you would still feel an increase...

 

awww. I really liked it when i could actually notice it. To me now, it barely feels noticeable, but i haven't heard it from the outside or a passy by. Oh well, still is a pretty lookin setup.
