Does anyone have the TRD intake yet?
Saw it online also, running about $350. Scion.com offers it as an option for new vehicles. But it looks just like the Injen CAI with a TRD badge, pointless to pay over 100 more for the TRD name, Just my .02.

why do people think the trd looks like the injen? it looks nothing like it whatsoever... it's an AEM rebadged... and it's not released yet!! it's a myth if anyone has it.

so? they've had the CAI in their catalogs for well over a year... even listing it as an AEM one before TRD decided to rebadge it.... i still haven't seen a picture with anyone having it..
and that one pictured above isn't TRD... looks like the Weapon*R to me.. so yea... the elusive TRD CAI? does it exist? well.. they have a picture of something in the catalog and on the scion site (so sure)... but anyone have it? i don't think so.

BadSeed was kidding, and he knows that because he put the TRD box on himself.
It is an AEM unit, they decided to not worry about being emissions legal because California Goose-Steps when it comes to Emissions, and TRD had already been dragging its' feet enough in releasing the darn intake.

i thought they ditched the aem unit and had injen make it for them but eather way i have not seen one in pearson so not sure exactly what it look's like. do you know if they keep some kind of charcoal filter on it
idk if its not 50 state legal, I still want it and i cant find where to purchase. scion.com doesnt have a picture yet, but i still want it. AEM is a good intake.
has anyone found a plac to purchase this intake, i dont care if i have to purchase outside california.

AEM ditched the idea and had TRD rebadge it... it's to my knowledge that it won't be released until it gets CARB approval... which probably won't happen... thus... i don't think anyone will have it...
you're better off purchasing something else like the Injen.

on ebay their is a "trusted" toyota retailer that has like 3500+ positive feedbacks selling the trd intake... has anyone bought it yet? it looks to be the real deal, not just some punk with 5 feedbacks putting trd logos on other intakes. needless to say, very interested...
