The only things that could be issues is that if you are idling for the bolt point of the exhaust the fumes will find their way up and around your fuel tank and up under and possibly through your backseat.

The only other thing as mentioned, it's noisy and that could possibly warrant a ticket in an area with any kind of noise ordinances.

Injen exhaust obviously the thief did not know what he was taking.
Sorry for the mishaps, but get a nicer one this time that sounds great.
I personally like the rumble sound of the Tanabe Concept G.

just noise and chance of a noise violation as said. Plenty of backpressure present. you also may get some gross fumes but just try not to go too hard on it around cops lol

btw do you have comprehensive insurance on your car? im not sure if that would be covered..anyone? hopefully would write you a check to get a replacement (stock) which is prolly more exspensive new than the injen

If you do unhook the muffler off of the Scion xD, would that possibly heat up your fuel tank too much cause that exhaust points upwards towards the right of the fuel tank?

Just want to know if that's a hazard.

You'll just be driving around with a loud exhaust with no back pressure. Our cars need back pressure to operate decently. I had to run around without an exhaust for a couple of weeks because I couldn't find the correct size gasket for my new exhaust. The car took a lot more to accelerate and my MPG dropped retarded low. Sorry for the theft but try and get some replacement parts ASAP. I'd just get new rubber hangers and a cheap eBay exhaust to temporarily remedy the issue.
