Default dual side exhaust

I know there are threads out there that are about dual exhaust.here is what I want to do:

I want to make a dual exhaust system that comes out the sides like a supr gt car/nascar/ old muscle car. some of you know what I mean. I need to cut my side skirts for the exhaust tip.

what kind of muffler can I use? I like magnaflow. they have pretty much everything to do it. so my question is will a muffler fit on the bottom? how about an exhaust like hks but mounted sideways? if I get the muffler and a good tip will it sound good? loud?

help!

It can be done, but with enough money.... A good muffler shop can do it, id ask gabe ( stylis ) as he has done many custom exhausts for scions, if anyone can do it, it would be him!

Bro, There is a great muffler/exhaust shop down the street from me that did my custom turbo back exhaust. They are some good guys. They were doing duals on a BMW 3 Series while they did mine. It looked sick!! The shop is AAA Muffler on La Cienega and Venice BLVD in LA. I see your in San Pedro, so its not too far of a drive. Send me a PM if your interested. They do great work.

i dont think ive seen it done on a tC... and i dont think it would look right on a tC, unless the car has a really aggressive look. but as for fitting a muffler under the car, it will be a very tight squeeze, and you need to fine a really thin muffler. cause if you do that, and lower it, your gonna have clearance issues like crazy (depending on how the shop does it... but in my head how i see it geting installed would cause clearance issues). go outside and look under your car and see where you would have to mount it. you dont have much room at all

none the less if you get it done, take lots of pics and post it

that's the idea excep I won't be using that style tip and I plan to actually cut my side skirts. maybe cf side skirts and make the hole for the tip. thanks!

What up what, I just found this topic. :D heh heh, dual side out for the scion tC? mmm,you don't mind if it comes out the passenger side do you? I have been wanting to do a side exit on a tC for abit now too. As far as the muffler goes, I already know what to use so its not to loud, awww yeah. Got some tricks up my sleeve!! :D

Aww the hell with it, let's just put a turn down on it!!

:D Just kidding!! But just to let you know that I have been kicking around the idea with the tC for a bit now.
