Dyno results are innnnnnn
isn't it usually 160 WHP with intake, header, and FULL exhaust (not just axle back, but including s-pipe and midpipe)...???
i understand it's different for every car, but just curious since i'm assuming toeveryhour doesn't have s-pipe and midpipe mods since it wasn't mentioned.

buddhas tC - i'm guessing it was around 103/104 degrees at the time.
CarbonXe - there is no "before dyno." don't know what you're talking about,
To everyone else, the shop, my exhaust was custom fabricated into a catback. Thanks for the comps!

^ That's my point. There is no before dyno. This dyno shows 0 gain from I/H/E/P, because we don't know what the stock run was on that dyno.
Yes, it shows how much hp/tq you made on that dyno, but the thing is, is that ALL dynos read differently. Which is why a base run must be done. For all we know, that dyno could have read you at 110whp or it could have read at 159whp.

I had similar results.
Injen short ram intake,
MMW header and S-pipe
Precision Muffler axleback
163.7 whp/162.2 ft-lb trq
outside temp was 60 degrees F
I bet if you had an s-pipe our numbers would be very similar.

It'd be nice to know what the real gains were, so all he needs to do is go back to stock and get another pull (same dyno & conditions), but I'm guessing that's not going to happen.
5 speed stock tc's will put down 130 to 140 hp every time ..... the newer models seem to get 140-145
i/h/e/p netted you anywhere from 15 to 30 hp ... but yea before dyno would of been nice, get a nice s-pipe : ) and you will have your 160ish hp

those are good numbers for those temps...good stuff...
and jblaze, they will not put down 130-140whp everytime...but that is the average. I remember seeing one person on a different forum doing a stock dyno and having around 146whp...i'd say that was generous...but nonetheless that's supposedly stock. But i'm sure that since this is a manual tranny, it was probably around 140whp stock give or take a few...but we do not know for sure and can only guesstimate
