Default Dynos of new TRD and AEM intakes needed!

If this has been done, please give us your dyno results! We must know!
And yes, I've searched... nothing but speculation and one unverified claim thus far.

Let's not be a jerk about it. This is a legitimate request. The TRD intake is NOT an AEM intake rebadged. Take it from me, I have an AEM intake.

Dynos of both would be nice, or if anyone has any CONCRETE information, that would be nice too. No speculation and no rumors....don't look at me, I'm too busy to go get a dyno, lol.

Thanks Reckless... as for the other guy:

1) Why lock this? It's a legitimate request/post. Many people are waiting on this info.

2) Is the TRD-AEM link a rumor or has it been officially confirmed

3) I doubt a 5hp gain from what I've read, but the point of this post is to get real torque and HP numbers... not specualtion and guessing.

ive seen this thread 5000000 times. the trd intake is aem rebadged, it is NOT a rumer. this needs to be locked because it has been talked about too many times. take the time to do a REAL search and you will find that information.

so saying i am rude... no, i am sick of topics like this.

trd = aem

hp about 5/6

mods please lock

AGAIN, this is a thread which is asking for REAL RESULTS FROM A DYNO, not guestimations. I've done a lengthy search for the last week and a half and been watching the threads. There are no dyno results posted yet for these intakes. And definately no torque numbers.

And if you're so sick of this thread or threads like it, then why bother reading it... don't get into it in the first place. I, on the other hand, posted as a last resort to get some information that I couldn't otherwise find. And please, challenge me by showing me evidence of AEM = TRD or a link you know of to the real dyno results on these intakes. Then I would gladly submit to a lock or removal. If you don't have anything relevant to say otherwise, then stop watching/replying to this topic.

look noobie, im trying to be nice to you. for one: an intake isnt gonna be that much HP anyway, a 2-3hp margine isnt gonna do a thing

for two: trd intake is made by aem. want proof? look at the design on the damn thing, it has AEM's hyrdolock filter on the pipe. ONLY AEM INTAKES HAVE THAT BECAUSE IT IS PATENTED

i got in this thread to help you and give you REAL information. as for a REAL dyno... its an intake, 6hp will be about what a dyno will tell you

I'm not a noob just beacause I have limited posts on Scion Life. I've researched, installed, and fabricated everything on my tC except for the stereo.

Now please tell me you know there's quite a difference between a K&N intake and the Injen in terms of gains. You're only going to "help" me and others who are interested by providing those dyno graphs. It's a real question that deserves a real answer. I still don't see why you're all worked up over this... it doesn't even matter if in the end, the dyno showed a 2, 6, or 12hp gain. People want real confirmation.

I suppose now that this thread has been hi-jacked by some ____ed off guy, I'll just have to wait for another post to show dyno results. In the meanwhile, if you're not a moderator, then don't hassle a poster because you're personally annoyed about the topic.

Thanks... I've already been watching that thread though. His results are somewhat suspect, esp. without dyno charts and there's no torque provided.

Anyway, I think this thread is dead now. No one wants to read about someone defending their post from an a-hole. Guess I'll just keep watching and waiting like everyone else...

sigh.. its an intake... there was a test on all of the intakes besides trd (aem) and they all were compaired. it was an indepent test, and the results were accurate. it shows hp/tq gains, as well as how good the a/f ratio are. in the end, injen had the best gain, as well as the best a/f ratio
