I got one of the cheap cold air intakes off eBay and put it on my car and about 1/4 of the time it will throw a code for mass airflow sensor. It's bolted down securely.
My buddy has an Injen cold air intake and his doesn't throw the code. Was just wondering why the cheap eBay one does but not the expensive Injen one?

Some ebay ones don't have the right pipe diameter where the sensor is. This causes the sensor to read either too little or too much air flow. The Injen is designed properly where the MAF plugs in.
