a buddy of mine broke his MAFS when he was installing his intake. Is it possible for him to use one from a camry? being that its the same engine? thanks again. im just trying to help out a friend in need

Does he have a spare Camry one laying around or something?

I tried to go to Autozone.com and get a part number from each... but the MAF for the tC says it's "Not available yet." ... wtf?

Thats most likely because the aftermarket hasnt started producing them yet, meaning it may only be available through toyota. I will add one word of advice... dont by Autozone.. I know mechanics who refuse to install their parts due to the lack of quality. I also wont use them.

I wouldnt be suprised if the camry one worked, however, the aftermarket may not have taken the time to reproduce them so they may not even realize if it is the same part. I would speak with the parts dept at your dealer.
