does anyone use an ebay intake...
if so hows the results compared to the injen or trd?

 

i doubt anyone would show their face if they did!

 

today someone told me ebay was the way to go....i stopped talking...laughed...and walked away

 

someone told me ebay is good just chang the filter im begining to agree since its just a metal pipe...

 

I have one. There is a slight performance improvement. Installation was good.
Can't compare with the others as I don't have these.

You know, when you're talking short ram intake; a pipe is a pipe!

 

I have an Ebay Intake and my car dynoed 160whp and 162wtq. with an:
EBAY Intake
Alphawerks Header
Full exhaust 2.5"

Why wouldn't I show my face? I'm not ashamed of not spendin over $200 for a piece of pipe and a filter. So what?!

i just wouldnt even try it if i dont have vital gauge to monitor the change, like a AFR

i will only pay 200 for a piece of metal and filter, if it uses a aem's dry filter(maf friendly) and black color to blend better.

people are scared because ebay generic parts are stereotyped with "rice"

 

well when the kid starts telling me he gets all the no name brand stuff..and his CAI is 25 bucks on ebay...i get kind sketched out....

i got a ebay intake....it does the same as any other one and it was like 80 bucks...but first thing i did before i installed an AEM dry flo filter...cause i cant truct the plastic thing they call a filte.....works great

 

who says it's $25? Is it a short Ram?
