Hola..Hope this is the Correct area!!..
I just installed EBC GreenStuff pads today...Then are making a Horrible Loud Squeal...
I got some Anti-Squeal lube...put it on the back of the pads....
Took a test drive Still the Exact amount of Squeal'in happening...
Did I not put the Anti-Squeal lube on the right parts???
Anything I should check???
I DID "search" couldnt find anything about New Pad squealing after install!!
Thanks!!

Did you...........................bed-in your brakes? One of the most important things to do that many people forget.
Are these still the stock rotors? Did you have them resurfaced?

HaHa....I figured it it out!..I guess it was the bedding??...
A friend told me to doa "hard" braking once...I just did a Hard Brake and the squeal'in went away!...weird how that works!!
Hopefully it doesn't return..I will find-out tomorrow...
Yea, colder pads tend to squeal more than pads that have been warmed up.
The bed in process is much more than 1 hard stop. Go to stoptechs website. They outline it beautifully. In short, you want to heat them up real hot to the point where you are experiencing brake fade. This means drive about 60mph and hit the brakes hard (on a scale to 10 - a 9). Bring the car down to 10mph and repeat the process 9 more times - 10 total. You will experience a lot of brake fade to the extent that the pedal will darn near hit the floor and the braking is very weak. They will probably also smell quite a bit - it made me sick the smell! lol jk. Then after the set of ten, let the brakes cool for a bit and then do another set of 10.
When I did my car, I did all 20; when I did my moms car, I only did 10, I didn't feel like doing 20 and that was fine. Just go to www.stoptech.com and read up about it.
You shouldn't be installing new pads on stock rotors after the old pads have worn out. At that point, either buy new rotors or have them resurfaced. Since you didn't, you will probably get the squeal back and the brakes will wear unevenly. This of course goes hand and hand with not getting as good braking performance as is possible with less surface area being used. Just take the rotors off and have them resurfaced at a local shop. It is cheap. OR, go to www.rotorpros.com or www.stoptech.com and get front slotted rotors for like $90. And they look cool! Hope that helps!

One of the biggest problems is actually finding a place to do the bed-in process. I chose a long straight away on a side road where there is VERY little traffic. Although honestly, it is a 30mph zone and if a cop gets me....
Granted, I have a radar detector, but if a cop sees you even w/o his radar on, it's obvious that you're moving. Its not the safest thing and NOT something that I enjoy doing! But hey, I got the brakes nice and hot and I hopefully won't have to do that again.
