Just in case there are others who don't know, could you explain what this is and what it does?

Not for me of course, becuase I know exactly what it is......hmmmm ;)

Well, in simple terms...it is a product that was made for the Lexus IS300 automatic transmission. Turboeast is testing it out on the Scion TC since they both have the same electronics.

The Electronic Shift Kit (E.S.K) will remove the sloppy shift from gear to gear in automatics. It basically takes the signal from the ECU talking to the transmission and tells the transmission to shift quicker instead of the glide from gear to gear shift.

GM can do this in their ECU programming, but Toyota has such a lock on the ECU that this kit is replacing an ECU change.

I'm waiting to get their version for wiring. I told them out findings and they said it's not right and would send me their hookup info. I called and sent an email yesterday. No response yet.
