energy suspension motor mounts
i want to buy some energy suspension motor and trans mounts... but looked on their site and couldn't find them... any one know where to buy... and also with the mounts do you get the annoying shake or rattle in the dash at idle... i have the DMC tourque dampner and it rattles occasionally... but i would like some feedback from those who have mounts installed, also how much of a difference do you feel installing one mount at a time... also do they sell the trans mount as a full replacement with all the casing/brackets, or as a push in bushing

DO NOT, DO NOT, DO NOT install only 1 or 2, install ALL of them.
This has been covered several times in the past and could have been found by searching

and now why do you suggest installing all of them and not just one or two...? i know the obvious benefits of doing all of them, but i may not have the tools or time at the moment to do all of them at once... i'm really thinking of doing the trans mount and the front engine mount for starters, dont want to break my new intake coming in soon... like i did the other.. also do you have any experiences with these mounts, any horrid virbrations in the dash after install...?

u get horrid vibrations when u only install sum and not all. the hardest one to get too is the tranny one. the other 2 are cake. but once u install all of them there not bad at all. I'm in the same boat I have them but jus haven't had time to install cause I wana do them all at once. dezod.com sells the mounts in red or black. and lets jus say mounts>etd. etd does nothing compared to the mounts but if ull hav e the etd on and the mounts that's more then enough to keep the engine in place

^ what he said x2
Installing just 1 or 2 will give you a hell of a lot of vibrations due to the asymmetrical composition of the mounts, i.e. 1 or 2 rubber mounts vs 1 or 2 polyurethane mounts. In other words the stress will always rest on the rubber mounts and cause a lot of vibration as the weight isn't distributed across the mounts evenly.
If you don't have time, tools, know-how, etc. you should wait, beg, borrow or steal more tools or have someone else help or do it for you.
FYI the mount in the back is the true PITA.

for the mount in the back, its not that hard if you pull it out from the top, you just have to take off a few extra things but its so much easier then trying to fit it around the subframe.
Remove the battery, and intake, jack the motor up and remove the trans mount, take all the bolts out from the rear mount, disconnect the shift cables, loosen up the bracket that holds the rear mount to the tranny and she should slide right out the top!!!

dezod link said out of stock, try here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Motor...Q5fAccessories
the bottom front is a nightmare to put in the bracket without a press. once they stettle the vibration will hardly be noticeable unless the a/c is on.

Just put mine in 2 weeks ago. Very nice all around. Not hard to do considering other cars I've been under. The back one is a little tough but with the right tools and knowledge, any job can be easy. When you come out of first, it shakes a little and the AC at idle is a little noisy but any other time or RPM, they're practically like OEM.
