Ths camry v6 may be a possibility, but the pricing along with the ecu, trans and custom axle's would be so much that you'd be better off getting a turbo, built internals and either a standalone or good piggyback. That would get you more power than the motor swap alone possibly could.

Being that this is n/a tC thread, i'm assuming you want to swap and build up a n/a motor. If thats the case, a 2zz would definitely fit if you like lift motors. If you didn't mind not going with a Toyota motor, your options are fairly endless.

The v6 (camry) will not fit in the tC without a good amount of work, its possible but it wouldn't be worth the money you dish out to make it happen.

This is kinda a random idea thread for swap ideas. not so sure its strictly NA or FI.

As far as swapping non-Toyota motors, I would imagin that is a whole new can or worms not worth dealing with? I mean, doesn't that just get kinda crazy? But then again, why not? I was just thinking of using another toyota engine in hopes that motor mounts etc would be closer than another setup from a different automaker. Certainly, i'd think this would be years down the line for most of us, but I like exploring the possabilities.

as far as the camery v6's are concerned, are they any more bullet-proof than our 2az-fe? or, is it the case with any engine, when you upgrade the internals it does not really matter what you started with. maybe its an issue of potential i guess.

Guys, this thread has been talked to death many times.... Anything is possible, given the needed cash, but nothing plug and play for sure....

Please see the other threads regarding this, they all come to the same conclusion...
