Then he has major issues then, Unless he can swap out the AWD transmission for a FWD one.

Yeah, but getting a transmission that would fit, handle the power is probably a good place to start. Then you get into the axles, motor mounts, linkages, etc.

i have yet to see a successful one done, aside from that RWD tc that i believe uses the same motor on this thread, and rado's drag car.

I'd rather see a real motor get put into a tC. Something that can make 500WHP without the need for high octane fuel and meth injection.

Won't fit lol, but a Chevy 350 would . And those can make an easy 500WHP with a procharger.

I can't wait until I can hit 500WHP with bolt ons. 4-bangers are boring.

I'm being serious, xluisx... don't half butt an engine swap... go with the GM LS4. FWD V8=big HP!!!

Or just be sensible and go turbo.

A ZZ572 crate (700 NA hp) mated to a transaxle sitting where the back seat used to go would be a nice choice... simple, just buy the motor (about 10 grand or so) basically replace half the car with a tube frame with all new suspension and a transaxle that works and you are good to go

yeah.. then just plop a blower on top and you can put down a modest 2000 hp with no issues to the motor... you know.. for those weekend track races....
